Course Structure

The ECPR Methods School offers a comprehensive framework designed to provide participants with rigorous training in research methodologies.

  • Pre-course Preparation: Two weeks prior to the course start date, participants receive pre-course materials through the Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Live Teaching Sessions: Each course spans five days of live instruction conducted via Zoom. Daily live sessions typically consist of at least three hours of teaching, with schedules varying by course. It's advisable to consult the specific course details for exact timings.

  • Assignments and Practical Exercises: Throughout the course, participants are assigned tasks that encourage the practical application of learned methodologies.

  • One-on-one consultations: In addition to group sessions, participants have the opportunity to schedule individual consultations with instructors. These personalised meetings are designed to address specific research questions and provide tailored guidance.

  • ECTS Credits: Upon successful completion of a course, participants are eligible to earn up to four ECTS credits.
