Public Profiles and the Discover Page

Building a Public Profile is an excellent way to connect with like-minded scholars and expand your networking opportunities at ECPR events. Your profile will be featured on the ECPR's Discover page, as well as the event-specific Discover pages for any events you attend. This makes it easier for fellow researchers to find and connect with you based on shared interests and expertise.

If you are attending an ECPR event and using the app, we encourage you to make your profile public so that you appear on the event's Discover page, making it easier for other attendees to find and network with you.

Additionally, a Public Profile enables ECPR to link your profile to your roles and activities, such as being a Standing Group committee member, Workshop Director, or Official Representative of a member institution, highlighting your contributions to the ECPR community.

Please note that the Discover pages are only accessible to individuals with a My ECPR account.

Key features of your profile:

    • Profile photo and banner image
    • Social media accounts and website links
    • Short biography
    • Research interests list
    • Attended events links
    • Standing Groups and Networks affiliation
    • Direct profile link sharing

To create your profile, go to My ECPR, then navigate to Discover People. From there, select My Profile to set up and customise your profile.
